Vicki Thompson, MS
Co-Founder & Director, Advisory Board of Directors
Vicki is a licensed specialist in school psychology. She has been in this role for over 20 years and is currently working in the Grapevine-Colleyville School District where she specializes in educational assessments and case management for students with disabilities.
Mrs. Thompson’s life mission has been to help others, especially children and adolescents in their life journey. Her experience includes working in public schools, residential shelter and treatment facilities, psychiatric hospitals and counseling centers. She was the founder and executive director of a community counseling center established through her church in Southlake, Texas.
Mrs. Thompson’s undergraduate degree is in Music Therapy from the University of Minnesota. She received her master’s degree in School Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. She is a licensed psychological associate, a licensed specialist in school psychology and a licensed professional counselor all in the state of Texas.
She also serves on the board of directors for Isaiah’s Place, a camp that focuses on enriching the lives of the deaf community and their families in Whitney, Texas. She is a member of the DFW Regional Association of School Psychologists
Her role on the Board of LWF is to ensure there is a healthy work environment for valued team members by providing support and encouragement.
She is a breast cancer survivor and celebrates life daily.
