Zach Mierva joined LWF in July 2021 and currently serves as a Consultant. In this capacity, Zach focuses on leveraging the DRiV to conduct leadership training, individual and team development, and workshop facilitation. He assists with leadership assessment for selection and development purposes. He works with leaders across organizational levels, using different assessment tools to provide impactful feedback and coaching. He improves leaders’ knowledge and skills in the following areas:
- Self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and humility
- Feedback reception, delivery, and integration
- Team development
- Organizational culture and change
Zach is a decorated combat veteran, serving over 12 years as a commissioned army officer. He served as a front-line leader for organizations of 19 to 1105 people as he worked his way through his military career. He finished up his last years in the army working at the United States Military Academy, teaching and mentoring the next generation of officers. His final assignment was as a Military Leadership Instructor, where he taught a wide range of topics with his students to improve their capabilities as leaders.
Zach graduated from the United States Military Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Management and a minor in Environmental Engineering. He earned a Master of Arts in Organizational Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University.
